December 16th marks the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party.  In 1773, Colonists disguised as Mohawk Indians
dumped 342 chests of tea into Boston Harbor.  The tea was valued at about $18,000.  This marked the beginning of far stricter control of the colonies by England.  It was the first step towards the eventual formation of the Continental Congress.
